Skill4Cash is a platform that simplifies the process of connecting service providers with customers and vice versa. It functions as a one-stop shop for finding solutions to service needs. Imagine it as the Toptal of all services.
It was designed by a talented team of 3 designers: Kosisochukwu Ibute, Wale Ogunsusi, and I, with me as the lead.

In Nigeria, service providers are unevenly distributed, making it challenging for them to find customers. On the other hand, customers struggle to connect with these service providers. Many of these service providers also lack the financial resources to effectively advertise themselves or establish physical stores in high-traffic areas.
With the world becoming increasingly digital, most interactions now take place online, and businesses are adapting to this change. However, they still face challenges such as the high cost of hiring developers to create solutions for their companies.

We began by interviewing skilled professionals and service providers to understand their current methods for acquiring customers and any challenges they face. Additionally, we spoke with individuals to learn how they currently search for service providers for their needs. Through these interviews, we found that many service providers struggle with proper advertising and exposure to the right clientele, individuals are hesitant to use online options, there is difficulty connecting with potential customers, and online presence is often unconvincing.
